It’s that time of the year again, folks! It’s the time when we sing of silent nights, Holly Jolly Christmases, Santa Claus coming down the chimney, and the lights of Hanukkah.
It’s the happiest time of the year, especially for those with little ones who will soon be hanging up their stockings.
But it’s also a time of giving. If you’re looking for a charitable contribution to make before 2014 ends, please consider my favorite organization, Operation Smile. They are the organization that repairs facial deformities like cleft palates in children from Third World countries whose parents can’t afford the surgeries that will change their lives while the rest of us are here, playing Santa to the tots in our families.
Take a look at the story of this little girl, Eugenie, an orphan. Especially watch the ending. What a difference Operation Smile makes!
